Plant Magic: Botanical Oracle Card Watercolor Workshop at Marcy’s Studio in Northwest Tucson
Start the new year with creative intention as we explore watercolor painting and botanicals to create your own personal oracle card. An oracle card is a symbolic artwork used as a tool for reflection and intuition, offering gentle guidance rooted in personal meaning.
Taught by Marcy Ellis in her personal studio, this intimate workshop draws from Marcy’s own art-making practices and nearly ten years of teaching experience. You’ll be guided through meditative drawing exercises and an approachable introduction to watercolor painting, working from gorgeous live floral arrangements.
No experience necessary & beginners are encouraged!

WHERE: Marcy's studio in Northwest Tucson, AZ. You will receive the address a week before the workshop.
What’s Included:
During this 2.5-hour workshop, we’ll cover:
- Meditative Drawing Practices: Ease into a creative flow with fun exercises working with flowers and botanicals
- Assortment of Oracle Card decks for inspiration
- Introduction to Botanical Drawing: Learn the basics of drawing plants and flowers with pencil and special ink pens.
- Watercolor Painting with Botanical Dyes: Experiment with unique, natural dyes like coffee, turmeric, avocado pits, and more.
All supplies are included, and you’ll even get to take home some art materials and floral arrangements to continue creating.
