Join us for a fun and relaxing creative experience as we explore watercolor painting and botanical dyes, using a variety of cacti and succulents as inspiration.

Taught by Marcy Ellis at Crooked Tooth Brewery in Tucson, AZ, this workshop draws from Marcy's own art-making practices and nearly 10 years of teaching experience. Marcy will guide you through meditative drawing exercises and an introduction to watercolor painting using a variety of cacti and succulents as inspiration.

During this 2-hour workshop, we’ll cover:

• Meditative Drawing Practices: Ease into a creative flow with fun exercises.
• Introduction to Botanical Drawing: Learn the basics of drawing cacti and succulents with pencil and special ink pens. 
• Watercolor Painting with Botanical Dyes: Experiment with unique, natural dyes like coffee, turmeric, avocado pits, and more.

All supplies are included, and you’ll get to take home some art materials and your very own cute little cactus to continue creating at home!
