Botanical Watercolor + Drawing Workshop at Marcy’s Studio in Northwest Tucson

Join us for a fun and relaxing creative experience, where we’ll explore drawing and painting with watercolors and botanical dyes. Taught by Marcy Ellis in her personal studio, this workshop draws from Marcy's own art-making practices and nearly 10 years of teaching experience. Marcy will guide you through meditative drawing exercises and an introduction to watercolor painting using gorgeous floral arrangements. Light snacks and drinks will be provided, plus a special 15% discount to shop directly from Marcy's studio. No experience necessary!

WHERE: Marcy's studio in Northwest Tucson, AZ. You will receive the address a week before the workshop.

During this 2.5-hour workshop, we’ll cover:

• Meditative Drawing Practices: Ease into a creative flow with gentle exercises.
• Introduction to Botanical Drawing: Learn the basics of drawing plants and flowers with pencil and special ink pens. 
• Watercolor Painting with Botanical Dyes: Experiment with unique, natural dyes like coffee, turmeric, avocado pits, and more.
