Join us for a Botanical Watercolor + Drawing Workshop at the 4th Ave Coalition Space!
immerse yourself in a joyful and relaxing creative flow as we explore the fundamentals of drawing and watercolor painting. we'll work with a variety of botanical dyes and draw inspiration from an assortment of floral arrangements. this workshop is designed for all levels-even if you've never held a paintbrush!
WHEN: Sunday November 3, 10am-12pm
WHERE: 4th Ave Coalition Space, 311 E. 7th street
during this workshop we’ll cover:
-meditative drawing practices to get into the creative flow
-intro to botanical drawing using pencil and ink
-intro to watercolor painting using a variety of botanical dyes like coffee, turmeric and red wine.
this class covers a 2 hour art lesson and all supplies are included. you will get to take some some supplies and floral arrangements. there will be some light snacks + drinks and an opportunity to shop directly from Marcy’s latest collection at 20% off.
